Are you Going to Watch Blood and Money Movie? I Request you to read my Review You Would love it. It is Released on 15 May. It is directed by John Barr. I hope that you must like my review and summary.
This you know there are a lot of action stars who as they get a little bit older they realize they’ve got a chance they have to get out of that action genre and a lot of times that’s difficult to do now some people can do it, for example, Arnold Schwarzenegger did it with The Last Stand.
He played a sheriff it was an action movie but he was not a young sheriff and he knew it and his age and his lessened abilities played a big part in that movie now a Sly Stallone went completely in the other direction.
He gathered a whole bunch of aging action stars and he threw them all together in the Expendables well it started out as kind of a lark and it was played for fun but it was so successful that we’ve had you know two additional sequels and now the third sequel was is in post-production so it really sparked and a lot of different people are able to come in and out with the changing role so it makes it a lot of fun.
I don’t know if Tom Berenger is actually you know tagged him under the action he played a lot of hard-boiled detectives you know he played a lot as I remember you know someone to watch over me was probably one of his better ones and he certainly latched on with the sniper series.
I, therefore, expect out of you to like my summary. Where he was a sniper and by god I think there were six of those movies made and he also starred in a series called the substitute where he took his action-adventure into the public school system to fight the drug cartel so in that case, I guess we can consider him as ever you know Kahn’s not a young spring chicken anymore and jumping around and doing all that fancy stuff jumping around the cosmos and something for the young doctor so as a result.
How would he fare if he tries to come back on one more time or an action-adventure er at all something about a class is about to begin that new your professor is it say, good evening ladies and gentlemen?
I am your cinematic professor and purveyor truth in movies tonight’s lesson plan is called blood and money you know I enjoyed this movie an awful lot it’s a pretty good thriller it deals of course with an older guy Tom Berenger is is the older guy and Wow like my summary.
This movie was enjoyable from beginning to end I just played very very well and I thought it was very very complete one of the better a thriller views of the year what we have here is Thomas playing a rather grizzled the Vietnam vet.
Who you know that has a lot of tragedy in his life and as such kind of lives on his own in the outskirts of northern Maine which is the mighty cold up there and a place called you know let me make sure.
I get this right because it’s called the Allagash and I hope I’ve said that right and originally this movie was called Allagash and I guess that had a rough connotation with it because unless you were from northern Maine or at least the extreme northern northeast like my summary.
He probably wouldn’t know what the Allagash was so they changed the name the blood and money hoping for an appeal to a wider bit of an audience probably wasn’t a bad move even though the Allagash is mentioned frequently in the movie.
Glutton’s money kind of makes it palatable for those who don’t get anywhere near the snowed before big biggie here okay so what we have is Tom Berenger character and he’s you know my god just watching this movie.
You start to feel cold that’s how well they’ve done the photography of this I mean it’s just like boom right hey you know and you’re sitting in the comfort of your home and he’s out one day in the allegation.
He Sudheer well he doesn’t put the deer down so you know like most hunters he has to go and track the deer as he does so he sees it moving on and a little golly ahead and he fires another shot at it oops guess what that wasn’t the deer no apparently.
It’s this young woman that he hits and she has a sack filled with millions of dollars apparently she’s part of a crew that just robbed the local casino and they made off with something like 2 million bucks so now you know after he’s devastated at having hit a person and killed her.
He realizes he has all this money and he can hear the other five guys looking for the bear in lies our conflict you know what happens with a good whole time here at this point you know does he take the money does he fess up he’s got five killers after I’m probably not a good idea to stick around and that unfolds the conflict to the entire okay.
Let me tell you a little bit about some of the people behind this movie a lot of money is actually the brainchild if you will of John Barr now let me make sure I get all of these credits right for you John Barr actually you know he’s been noted as a cinematographer in Hollywood and this follows with one of my Maxim’s that cinematographer as a general rule make the best directors and I think it’s because.
They’re used to seeing things visually okay and I think John Barr proves this a Dodge in this in this movie for this he shot it so use the cinematographer and he also penned the script and he is making his directorial debut I think this movie looks fine I got one problem with it I have one problem with it sorry and that yeah it comes in the editing no no there are no jump cuts.
I hope that you would like my review. I would be whaling if there were but there are some cuts that are what we call cold cuts so they’re just cuts but they’re cold in the sense not that you were shooting in the Allagash but they’re cold in the sense that they ship scenes and do it abruptly you know in film and in movies.
When you’re telling a narrative even if it’s just a short sequence that you’re going to what they call the movie to dissolve Oh always works better it really does it’s just a way of showing a passage of time and a change of locale rather than just cutting it right in and go into it I think those would have worked a lot better in this movie.
There is a very jarring effect when they change the scenes like that it’s like you know where we add what happened how to go some people say that the typical movie dissolves should be 999 frames no it does not need to be that long but certainly it’s not the 15 or 20 frames and please like this review.
You would you say in television so if you get yourself a nice you know chunk of frames in there for the dissolve I think it might have helped this movie float say starting with the Tom Berenger in blood and money a couple of names you may know Paul Ben-Victor probably is best known for his role in the sci-fi series.
The Invisible Man good series on Syfy network and Kristin Hager is also in this movie as well I got to tell you that outside of that little foible about the edits I had a good time with this movie and it has one of those endings where you’re gonna go oh no and then just like that within a span of about 66.
It’ll ship for you like and it’s worthwhile I got to tell you I think this is one of Tom Barringer’s best at least in the last decade or decade and a half I would rank it up there as one of his top performance and likes the review.
I really enjoyed this movie I think you’re gonna like it too it’s called blood and money and you can see it in the privacy of your own home through the quarantine as it is available on VOD your favorite streaming device and of course, home video now that you have learned what you have learned here endeth your lesson.
